If you often read my blog, you have probably noticed my penchant for kitsch, unusual jewellery, so imagine my delight when I came across quite a few new unique delights to blog about. Punky Pins has a range of pendants, bracelets, and rings that are handmade and I just love the kitsch, vintage feel to their jewellery. But don't take my word for it, check out their stuff below, and go to their website, www.punkypins.co.uk. I love the pop-art feel to their jewellery as well as their tattoo-style collections- both edgy and chic! I also love their selection of kits where you can make your own jewellery- from retro charms to vintage inspired items.

Style Icon of the Day: Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole, a woman who is constantly featured in the tabloids for her outfits just as much as for her personal life, has transformed herself from a member of a manufactured girlband to a style icon and a force to be reckoned with. Although Cheryl has had some fashion mishaps (ie: the terrible colour-block combo she debuted in the US), how can one become a style icon without a few bumps in the road? Here are some of my favourite looks from Cheryl, and a few items so that you can get a dash of Chezza in your wardrobe!

I love this casual look, as I believe that a check shirt is a fashion staple. I love the bright colours in the shirt being highlighted by the white shorts and bag.

Fashion News of the Week

1. Miuccia at the Met:
Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli will be the subject of an exhibit at the Met. The exhibition, which will be launched in May 2012, will be opened by a Met Ball which shall celebrate the two who are widely regarded as major influencers of fashion. Miuccia Prada is behind major labels Prada and Miu Miu whilst Schiaparelli is responsible for bringing catwalk shows to the fashion world.

2. Jacobs for Dior?!
There has been so much speculation over who shall become the next creative director of Dior, especially around Marc Jacobs, and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Marc Jacobs president, Robert Duffy, made a statement that has been seen in the fashion world as a major clue that Jacobs could be in the running for the Dior job. Duffy told the Wall Street Journal that "Marc could do a couture line". When are we going to find out?!

3. Bundchen not Budging!
Balenciaga may be rocking the chunky flats this winter, but it seems that may be due to Gisele Bundchen's demands as she was worried she would not be able to walk in heels, claiming she was not used to walking in them anymore.

Find of the Day: Tiffany Jewellery

Hello lovely readers! First of all, I'm very sorry for being so late with my blog posts, but I've recently gotten a job so I've been quite busy! However, I'm going to try and blog a bit more this week, so expect quite a few new posts! I downloaded the Tiffany app for my iPhone, and basically it's an app where you can look at their engagement rings and try it on a photo of a hand. I was hesitant to tell you all about this little app, considering I am nowhere near getting engaged anytime soon, however, Tiffany's is so stunning, I just had to do a blog post on my favourite finds! And, I've found my engagement ring thanks to this little app, I'm debating between the Tiffany Novo and the classic Tiffany Setting... even if I will be waiting a good few years for it! :P

Style Icon of the Day: Rihanna

What would be a few words to describe Rihanna? Fierce? Unique? Fashionable? Daring? Fiesty? I think all of these words describe both Rihanna herself and her style. Like her raunchy music, Rihanna isn't afraid to take risks with her clothes, and because of this, I believe she is most definitely a style icon. Her videos are a feast for the eyes, and Rihanna is always the first to try a wacky outfit straight off the runway, and somehow she pulls it off! And if that doesn't convince you, this woman was singing the praises of S&M way before the fashion industry did, so here are my favourite outfits of Rihanna, and how you too can emulate them ;)
