Find of the Day: Fairy Gothmother

My find of the day is more unsual today- it's a gothic/50s boutique from London, and I just had to feature them for their stunning corsets, eye-catching retro dresses, and their unusual wedding dresses. Fairy Gothmother is not the stereotypical Gothic fare you are probably thinking of- fishnets, everything black, and generally angst-ridden, but is more the sexy burlesque type that Dita von Teese would go wild over. Here are some of my favourite picks from this stylish boutique.

I am a huge fan of burlesque and corsets and I love their detailed corsets. They are so well made!

I am also in love with their figure hugging gowns. The corset top and the flared skirt of the dress makes it uber flattering, giving off a tiny waist.

I also love their cute 1950s inspired retro dresses and their unusual bridal collection.

Style Icon of the Day: Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz is the quintessential California girl- keeping her look simple and chic whether she's out and about or on the red carpet. Cameron manages to make her look flirtacious and sexy but not too girly, which makes her a style icon as she pulls off the casual glam style so effortlessly. These are some of my favourite outfits from Ms. Diaz, and how you too can be as effortlessly chic ;)

This look is very sexy and effortlessly chic- an LBD is never out of fashion! Keep accessories simple like Cameron and pair with some killer heels!I love how Cameron has used silver accessories-silver and black are so good together.

Find of the Day: Prada Handbags

I am a Prada girl- pure and simple. I can't help but lust over their bags, shoes, and clothes. Did I mention the bags? I love Prada's luxury and immaculate detail on all of their bags, so I knew that I had to feature my favourites as a Find of the Day. Here are my favourites...

Style Icon of the Day: Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe is without a doubt a style icon- who else do you think of when you hear of a platinum blonde with fire-red lips. She was the quintessential blonde bombshell and she got to style icon status by fitting her voluptous curves in figure-hugging dresses in racy colours- especially red. She oozed sex appeal, yet at the same time she made her look very classic, which would be emulated for years to come. Here are my favourite outfits from Ms. Monroe, and a few items so you too, can be a bombshell, whether or not you have those famous blonde locks...

Jersey Maxi Dress
Precis Petite

Halter Plunge Neck Cut Out Dress

Red Halterneck Dress
Blue Banana

The iconic photo of Marilyn just epitomizes what she is famous for- being sexy yet still classy, with this white halterneck 50s style dress being alluring as well as classic.

Jersey Grecian Mini Beach Dress

Pleated Silk Satin Twill Gown

It was difficult finding a gown like Marilyn's that was not designer and super-expensive, but this was the best I could do, and I absolutely love this dress!

Find of the Day: Chloe

Whilst trawling the internet, I found another bag to add on my dream wish list- ie- the list of bags that I shall one day buy when I am happy not going out and eating lettuce and water for a year to pay for them. I've never been a huge fan of Chloe, and I must admit, I don't ever really bother looking at their collection because it's never really done much for me. But I did find these gorgeous bags that I just think would be perfect style staples in any fashionista's wardrobe.

I am particularly in love with the Darla. It's added on the list- it joins Marc Jacobs Stam, Alexa, the Birkin, and many, many others ;)
